The Holly Bush Inn & Tourist Information at the heart of the Heritage Village of Cefn Mawr. This being the section you are looking at in the above image built in the Telford Style of the time. The second oldest part of the Holly Bush Inn is built from the stone rubble left over from the construction of the mighty Cefn Viaduct which still carries the main Chester to Shrewsbury railway line today.

The Tourist Information Service that we provide is of a local nature specifically for our area and all the local attractions at the centre of the Pontcysyllte World Heritage Site in the Cefn & Cefn Mawr. This provided by our local friendly staff who have lived in the area all their lives that know it well.

So if you would like to know more and maybe have a beer or two please call round to the Holly Bush Inn, we will be pleased to see you and are open seven days a week from 1100 to 2300.

Free Parking in Cefn Mawr

Free Parking around Cefn Mawr Village Centre

Cefn Mawr Heritage Village has narrow streets that were built before the age of the motor car but we do have some parking areas around the village centre as can be seen above. This map of Free Parking in Cefn Mawr can be down loaded from our website and we look forward to seeing you in our community. The two main streets for where most of the shops are found are Crane Street and Well Street both of which were originally engineered as early horse drawn railway lines. You will notice when you visit our village the gradual constant gradients of these streets that lead to the Aqueduct. Both where used to haul the stone used in construction of both the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the mighty Cefn Viaduct.
